- Gets four newly named variants
- Also offered with CNG
Renault has launched the Triber facelift in India, with prices starting at Rs. 6.29 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated version gets four variants – Authentic, Evolution, Techno, and Emotion, and boasts a host of cosmetic enhancements and some new features. This compact MPV was long overdue for an update since its launch six years ago in the country. Let's take a closer look at its thorough makeover through this picture gallery.

In its latest iteration, the Triber gets a refreshed design with a gloss black grille, revamped headlight clusters with integrated LED DRLs, and a reworked bumper.

Though the silhouette remains the same, the car rides on 15-inch flex wheels, which are wheel covers that look like alloy wheels. They are cleverly designed.

At the back, it sports smoked LED tail lights with a central black strip and 'Triber' lettering on the boot lid. Another element worth mentioning is the brand's latest diamond logo.

Inside the three-row MPV, the layout remains the same with a dual-tone dashboard. However, there’s a new eight-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system that gets wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Other interior highlights include an LED instrument cluster, LED cabin lighting, and new seat upholstery.

This time around, safety is further enhanced with six airbags, ESP, TPMS, and EBD with Brake Assist. This safety package is standard across all four variants.

Lest we forget, Renault has introduced front parking sensors - a segment-first feature.

Powertrain
Under the hood, the Renault Triber retains its 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine, producing 71bhp and 96Nm torque. This mill comes mated to either a five-speed manual or a five-speed AMT system. Customers can also opt for a government-approved CNG retrofitment kit.
