- Externally, the EX30 gets Thor’s hammer LED headlamps with Volvo badges, air vents, split high-mounted tail lamps, black roof and spoiler, five-spoke alloys, and a clean, closed-off grille.
- Internally, the SUV is all about sustainable materials, which include wool blend, pixel knit, recycled PET, flax, and denim. The cabin is roomy with a panoramic sunroof, and also gets a three-spoke sports steering wheel. There are intuitive storage options, which include a retractable cup holder.

EX30 Engine & Specifications
- The Volvo EX30 gets single- and dual-motor configurations, out of which the former churns out 200kW/343Nm, enabling the SUV to sprint to 100kmph from a complete standstill in 5.7 seconds (336km claimed range). There’s also an extended range version (475km claimed), which gets a zero to 100kmph acceleration of 5.3 seconds.
- The dual-motor version is rated to churn out 315kW/543Nm, taking the zero to 100kmph sprint to 3.6 seconds. It gets a claimed range of 450km. All variants top out at 180kmph (electronically locked).
- There are two battery packs on offer – 51kWh (single-motor) and 69kWh (single-motor ER, dual-motor). While the former charges from 10 to 80 per cent in 26 minutes, the latter takes 28 minutes to attain the same SoC (State of Charge) via a 175kW fast charger.

- The Volvo EX30 is replete with tech. Based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon Cockpit platform, the 12.3-inch centre console offers wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. There’s support for OTA updates and in-console services (free for four years, subscription-based later). Notably, there’s no instrument cluster.
- The SUV gets a keycard (digital key – RFID), connected car tech, advanced air filter for PM2.5, two-zone climate control, wireless charging pad, 1kW Harman Kardon speakers, and four USB-C ports.
