- All-black edition of the Octa
- Stands out with a stealthy theme
Land Rover has recently unveiled the Defender Octa Black, which is a completely blacked-out edition of its iconic SUV. This special edition gets more than 30 elements that are finished in gloss or satin black. It continues to carry forward the Octa's sleek and aggressive design with rugged luxury, but with a stealthier approach. Here's a picture gallery detailing all the exterior and interior enhancements.

The Defender Octa Black features a Narvik Black exterior paint finish with an optional matte protective film.

The front and rear scuff plates are finished in Satin Black Powder Coat, but with exposed recovery eyes.

Both the tow eye cover and quad exhaust tips get a gloss black colour, providing a contrasting finish. This is one of the striking design element that stands out.

The Defender Octa Black rides on 20-inch forged wheels or 22-inch gloss black wheels with black centre caps. Even the brake callipers in gloss black feature a contrasting script.

Inside the Octa Black, the interior boasts Ebony Semi-Aniline Leather with Kvadrat for the performance seats. These in turn feature unique perforation patterns and new stitching details on the backrests.

Even the cross bar beam is finished in satin black powder coat, while the switchgear and steering wheel are black. On the other hand, an optional Chopped Carbon Fibre finish can be chosen for the interior.

Other highlights include a 6D Dynamics suspension, dedicated OCTA Mode, and Body and Soul Seats (BASS). No points in guessing that the Octa Black will command a premium over the standard Octa.

Powertrain
The Land Rover Defender Octa Black is powered by a 4.4-litre, twin-turbo, V8 engine with mild-hybrid tech. This mill produces 626bhp and 750Nm torque, making it a formidable performer. With that power, the SUV can accelerate from zero to 100kmph in 3.8 seconds!
