- Recall due to an issue with the front and rear seat belts
- Dealers are expected to contact the customers of the affected vehicles soon
Skoda Auto India has issued a fresh recall for multiple models as of 18 July, 2025. The carmaker has undertaken a recall of the Kylaq, Slavia, and the Kushaq, affecting a total of 860 units. The company has not revealed the model-wise recall numbers.

According to official details, concerns were identified during a quality inspection, where the rear seat belt assembly (left and right sides) could develop a crack in the metal base. Additionally, an incorrect part may have been installed in the front and rear seat belts.

The recall concerns units of the Slavia, Kylaq, and the Kushaq, manufactured between 1 December, 2021 and 31 May, 2025. Skoda dealers are expected to contact the customers of the affected vehicles, and the part, if found defective, is likely to be replaced free of cost. The last recall by Skoda was for these three cars as well, details of which are available on our website.
