Pros
- The Seltos is a practical and spacious SUV.
- It gets useful comfort features and level-2 ADAS.
- iMT offers a unique clutch-less manual gearbox experience.
- It has good build quality and fit/finish.
- Easy to drive due to the ample performance from the engines.
Cons
- The fully loaded versions are quite expensive.
- Top-of-the-line versions do not get a manual gearbox.
- iMT is not available in the top-spec variants; so misses features like ADAS.

Positives:
- This silent engine does not sound rough, even when driving at 120kmph.
- It has got good pulling power, which helps with overtaking both in cities and on highways.
- Despite being powerful, the ARAI-claimed mileage is an impressive 17.9kmpl.
- The SUV is stable even at speeds of up to 120kmph and doesn't feel like a huge car to drive.
- The iMT version makes driving a manual gearbox very convenient.
- Even in the iMT version, overtaking doesn't feel unnerving as long as the engine is over 1,500rpm.
- The gear lever in the iMT has a smooth shifting action, requiring very little effort.
- The Seltos gets hill-start assist as standard. This feature prevents the car from rolling backward on an up-hill slope.
Negatives:
- There's a lack of good response from this engine at low speeds.
- The first gear in the iMT version sometimes feels jerky and rough at around 25kmph.
- The ride quality feels slightly hard on imperfect roads.

- There's good visibility due to the sloping dashboard design, thin pillars, and big window area. Moreover, its boot space is deep and wide.
- The Seltos is equipped with a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control system, and voice-controlled power windows.
- The SUV receives the brand's latest Connect app, which has features such as live tracking, remote start/stop and lock/unlock, and security alerts.
Negatives:
- Tall passengers and individuals above six feet will find the rear seat headroom restrictive.
- There isn't good rear seat thigh support, and even the middle passenger's back cushioning is hard.
- Passengers will have to lift luggage high to load the boot as the loading lip is high. Besides, the boot space is not that tall, restricting loading big stuff on top of each other.

- Kia Seltos HTX (O) 1.5 Petrol CVTDriving the Kia Seltos HTX Plus Automatic felt special right from the start. Its crisp design, bold tiger-nose grille, and sleek LED lights make it stand out. Inside, both my wife and I noticed the premium feel—plush leatherette seats, ambient lighting, and a user-friendly 10.25-inch touchscreen paired with a Bose sound system made every drive comfortable and enjoyable. The 1.5L petrol engine delivers smooth, responsive performance, and the IVT automatic gearbox shifts seamlessly, making city traffic easy to handle. What stood out for us was how well the suspension dealt with bumps and rough roads, keeping the ride composed. There’s plenty of space for everyone and ventilated seats up front, a real boon during the summer. My wife especially loved the rear seat recline and compared the experience to a European car. 0 - Kia SeltosI have driven around 10,000 Kms. I must say I am in love with this car. It's a very fun car to drive. fully justify its price. Only drawback is you will hate to drive any other car in this segment, its just that good. Its size is just perfect, it's a rocket when you floor it, and it's buttery smooth when cruising at speed limits. About the ReviewerPurchase New51 - Car of the decadeWhen Kia Seltos was launched in India, I was amazed by the exterior and interior of the car... and when the facelift was launched, it was more attractive than the previous one.. I was planning to buy HTX, but when the gravity edition launched and its interior and features made me buy it..buying experience was not that great. I am not that experienced a driver, right? I still can say it's pretty easy to drive, bonnet edges are visible, and clutch and gearbox are so smooth... Breaking is also great Doesn't lose stability on sharp turnings and highways... About the ReviewerPurchase Not Purchased40 - Seltos Poor Body Built QualityLook and interiors are great, however that can be deceptive as the body built quality is pathetic. In Feb 2024 there was rain accompanied by hail in Chandigarh, the Seltos body suffered extensive damage while my own body and that of my second car of another brand were absolutely unaffected. Earlier I was driving Swift 2013 (diesel) but after switching to it this was a rocket for me as I switched from 1.2L to 1.5L whether I am driving a petrol now . Awesome and classy looks in this variant at this price point , all the basic features just like all power windows, electric mirror folding , wireless key , DRL'S with projector headlights . Performance is quite good with 1.5L petrol engine initial pickup is just like wow . Service and maintenance cost is very normal for this segment of car and the running cost is also normal. Normal at every 10K kms cost approx. 10K-12K.it have a lot of pros as we got wireless Android auto and Apple CarPlay with touch screen infotainment system and rear wiper + defogger , steering control, cruise control, wireless key ,16 Inches alloy wheels . Main cons is that the alloy design is not so good in the facelift also this variant have the same alloy design I think they need to update them . All over car is very awesome and just worth of money . Although I have completed 1 lakhs km with no work in engine ,gearbox and all mechanical parts just maintaining the wear and tear it's performing very well in it.Rating Parameters(Out of 5)4
