Mahindra has announced that the XUV700 has surpassed the 3 lakh sales mark in India, making it one of the brand’s most successful models in recent years. Launched in August 2021, the XUV700 has played a crucial role in Mahindra’s product portfolio, thanks to its extensive feature list, strong powertrain options, and competitive pricing.
The XUV700 is available with two engine options — a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel. Both engines are offered with six-speed manual and automatic transmissions, along with optional all-wheel drive in select variants.
The SUV is offered in five- and seven-seat configurations across a range of variants, including MX, AX3, AX5, AX5 Select, AX7, and the top-spec AX7L. Special editions such as the Blaze Edition and Ebony Edition are also on sale. Prices for the XUV700 start at Rs. 14.49 lakh and go up to Rs. 25.89 lakh (ex-showroom).

In terms of features, the XUV700 packs a dual 10.25-inch display setup for the infotainment system and digital instrument cluster, Level 2 ADAS with adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, wireless charging, ventilated front seats, and connected car tech. It also holds a five-star Global NCAP rating for occupant safety.
Mahindra is currently working on a facelifted version of the XUV700, which has been spotted testing and is expected to arrive in the coming months. The updated model is likely to feature cosmetic tweaks and new tech upgrades to keep it fresh against growing competition in the segment.
