- Showcase likely on 15 August
- May get a 2.2-litre diesel motor
In a series of teasers for the 15 August Freedom_NU event, Mahindra is likely to have the Scorpio N-based pickup in the pipeline. Amidst official developments, a wrapped test mule of the Scorpio N-based pickup truck was spotted in Nashik.

A single-cab version of the pickup truck has been spied on the road, and there’s no word on its dual-cab iteration. The completely wrapped test mule gives away a changed grille, but the exact design is still unclear. What appears to be a set of pop-out headlights could be a temporary installation, which is a rather successful attempt at not giving away its design language. Additionally, the wrapped pickup has a set of steel wheels. This could either be a base variant or a signal of an affordable price point. The cabin, at least from the looks of it, resembles the one in the Thar Roxx. If so, it may carry over the same 10.25-inch two-screen cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and AdrenoX.

At the heart of the Scorpio N-based pickup could be a 2.2-litre diesel motor, likely tuned to churn out 150bhp and 370Nm torque. A petrol version may also be added for our markets, accounting the changing emission norms. There may be a 4WD system onboard, and a range of manual and automatic gearboxes.
