Hyundai India recently added S AMT, yet another variant of the Aura, in addition to the recently launched ‘Corporate’ variant. However, the new S AMT variant is positioned differently, and here's everything you need to know about it.
Affordable
The carmaker's main objective behind launching this variant was to offer a more affordable AMT variant of the Aura. Priced at Rs. 8.08 lakh (ex-showroom), the new S AMT variant undercuts the existing automatic variants.
Powertrain
The Hyundai Aura S AMT is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 82bhp and 114Nm of torque. This mill comes mated to a five-speed AMT system.
More Features
As far as the Aura S AMT's safety and convenience features are concerned, it comes equipped with six airbags, ESC, hill start assist control, TPMS, and electric folding ORVMs with integrated turn indicators.
Anything Else to Know?
Earlier, the carmaker had launched the Aura in a new 'Corporate' variant. Unlike the S AMT, the 'Corporate' variant is available with both petrol and CNG options. It is positioned between the S and SX trims.
