- Available in two variants
- Claimed mileage of 26.6km/kg
Maruti Suzuki has re-launched the Grand Vitara CNG just over two months after launching an updated version of the standard car. The CNG option is available in the Delta and Zeta variants, priced at Rs. 13.48 lakh and Rs. 15.62 lakh.
The engine in question is Maruti’s 1.5-litre K-Series petrol, producing 88bhp and 121.5Nm in its CNG guise. The only transmission option on offer is a five-speed manual, with a claimed mileage of 26.6km/kg.

The feature list is the same as what you get in the equivalent Delta and Zeta variants. However, the biggest upgrade is a new and more comprehensive feature list. This includes six airbags as standard, ESP with Hill Hold Assist, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Front and Rear Disc Brakes, and an ISOFIX child seat restraint system.
Commenting on the launch, Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, “The new 2025 Grand Vitara S-CNG offers a range of new convenience and safety alongside the introduction of six airbags as standard. Powered by our Next-Gen K-series 1.5-litre Dual-jet, Dual-VVT engine, it delivers remarkable fuel efficiency without compromising on its exhilarating SUV drive experience. We are confident that the new Grand Vitara S-CNG will continue to win the hearts of customers with its robust safety and commendable efficiency.”
