- New 11.2-inch touchscreen with Snapdragon-powered infotainment system
- Priced at Rs. 1.15 lakh more than its predecessor
Volvo Car India has launched the facelifted XC60 in India at an introductory ex‑showroom price of Rs. 71.90 lakh. The update brings modest exterior changes and notable tech enhancements, while retaining the petrol-hybrid powertrain.
Visually, the XC60 retains its familiar silhouette but with subtle tweaks. The front now features a new diagonal‑slat grille and redesigned front bumper, complemented by dual‑tone 19‑inch alloy wheels and smoked tail‑lights. A fresh Forest Lake shade now joins the existing palette.
Inside, the highlight is an 11.2‑inch freestanding touchscreen infotainment system powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon platform. Other features include a 12.3‑inch digital driver display, Nappa leather upholstery, massaging front seats, panoramic sunroof, Bowers & Wilkins stereo system, four‑zone climate control, and a 360‑degree cameras.
Like all Volvos, safety remains a key strength with seven airbags, and Level 2 ADAS offering adaptive cruise control, lane‑keeping and pilot assists, blind‑spot monitoring with auto‑brake, and cross‑traffic alerts.
There are no mechanical changes and the XC60 continues with the 2.0‑litre four‑cylinder turbo‑petrol engine with a 48-volt mild‑hybrid system. It is tuned to deliver 250bhp and 360Nm of torque, sent to all four wheels via an eight‑speed torque‑converter automatic gearbox.
With this facelifted model, the single fully‑loaded Ultra trim is priced at Rs. 71.90 lakh, which is Rs. 1.15 lakh above the predecessor’s Rs. 70.75 lakh price tag. It competes against BMW X3, Audi Q5, and Mercedes‑Benz GLC in the luxury mid‑size SUV segment.
