However, if you are considering the base HTK+ variant, here is a detailed look at what’s on offer. This variant is priced at Rs. 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Exterior Highlights
Like the higher variants, the base variant of the Carens Clavis EV gets the same number of exterior paint schemes as its top-spec counterpart. The base variant stands out with 16-inch alloy gloss black wheels instead of the 17-inch wheels found on higher trims. Additional exterior highlights include metal skid plates at the front and rear, black side door garnish, and a full LED light package.
Powertrain Options
When it comes to the powertrain options, the sole offering is the 42kWh battery pack, which provides a claimed range of 404km. The motor is FWD, with an output of 133bhp and 255Nm. Charge times stand at 39 minutes via a 100kW DC fast charger.
Interior and Feature Highlights
The whole cabin has been trimmed out in beige over black, with semi-leatherette and fabric seats as a part of the package. Also included is a centre console with cup holders, as compared to a more premium design for the higher-spec models.
